What is the Talent Search Program?
The Talent Search Program is designed to provide services, information, direction, and guidance to middle and high school students in grades 6 through 12 with the two major goals of helping program participants to successfully complete secondary education as well as successfully enroll in some form of post-secondary education or training.

Academic Advising and Counseling
- Study skills, habits, & attitude surveys, interpretation and follow-up activities
- Pre-college curriculum information
- College campus visits, college life information
- Post-secondary admissions requirements
- SAT information and preparation
- SAT and College Application fee waivers (when eligible)
- Tutoring referrals
Financial Aid Counseling
- Information on scholarships, grants, loans, & work-study
- Student & Parent financial planning, informational workshops
- Financial Aid searches via Internet
- Individual information and assistance with applications for financial aid (FAFSA) and scholarships
Assistance for individuals who have dropped out of high school or college
- Help with high school re-entry
- Information and assistance with GED obtainment
- Help with College/Vocational entry or re-entry
