AES Annual Story Walk

AES held their 15th annual Story Walk, "Read with Me, Under the Sea", on Saturday, April 6th from 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM.  This event was enjoyed by students of all ages, with activities geared for PreK-3rd graders.  Activities included a treasure hunt, ocean slime, scuba mask making, seashell fossils, walking the plank, seal ping pong, and visiting the deepest parts of the ocean.  All students went home with moments from the day and a book to read.  Many thanks to our local groups who participated by providing additional activities for our students: PTA, Head Start, Adagio Health, B. F. Jones Library, Dads Matter, and Keystone Wellness. The Little Free Food Truck provided lunch for all, and WQED brought Splash from PBS to give the students a special photo opportunity.  The staff at AES did a tremendous job transforming the 1st floor into an ocean extravaganza.  See you next year!
