My name is Danny Sonsini and I am a 7th and 8th learning support math teacher at the Aliquippa Jr. Sr. High School. This is my first year teaching at Aliquippa and my third year teaching altogether. I graduate from Aliquippa High School in 2008 and attended Slippery Rock University where I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education. I am currently in graduate school at Slippery Rock University where I am studying to earn my master’s degree in special education with emphasis on Autism. I was a special education teacher at the PA Cyber Charter School before I happily accepted a position at Aliquippa. It is an honor to teach where I went to school and to work with other teachers who actually taught me when I was in school! Although this profession is challenging at times, I am looking forward to what the future has in store for me and hopefully I can make a difference in the lives of some students.
