Writing Contest Winners

Three Elementary School Gifted students received recognition for entering the Young Writers' Spooky Saga contest this fall.  Their work will be published in Spooky Sagas - Twilight Terror, coming out in March 2024 by an award-winning print shop in England!  A copy of the publication will be available at AES.  

Congratulations to Mercy Jordan - grade 6, Taylor Jordan - grade 4, and Hope Honess - grade 2.

Pep Talk Phone Line

Help us spread encouragement and cheer across Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Department of Education is establishing a fully automated pep talk phone line that users can call to hear words of encouragement, jokes, and advice from PA students in kindergarten through high school.

2023 First Lego League Robotics State Championship

Prevention Program Coloring Contest

Aliquippa Elementary held a coloring contest for Red Ribbon Week.  This year's theme was “Be Kind To Your Mind - Live Drug Free.”  Each winner received a Halloween bag filled with art supplies and a few treats!
