Dear Aliquippa School District Community,
Earlier today, I was informed that another member of our school family was diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus. The person last worked in the District on Friday, March 13, 2020. The person has mild symptoms and is recovering while being self-quarantined. The Pennsylvania Department of Health is responsible for contact tracing. Updated information regarding the COVID-19 virus is available on the following websites: the Pennsylvania Department of Health (www.health.pa.gov) and the Center for Disease Control (www.cdc.gov). These websites update frequently regarding the COVID-19 virus. The websites have information on how to protect yourself, if you think you are sick, symptoms, existing medical conditions, self-isolation, self-quarantining and preparing your family.
Once again, continue the following: stay calm, stay safe, and practicing social distancing.
Keep the patients and the Aliquippa community in your thoughts and prayers.
OUR ALIQUIPPA COMMUNITY IS STRONG.
