ASSET (Achieving Student Success through Excellence in Teaching) is a component of the Aliquippa School District’s science curriculum. It is a hands-on program with a focus on inquiry and strongly supports STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education.
On Wednesday, October 19, 2011, ASSET had a Showcase of Student Learning during their open house. Avonna Henry and Tymir Hill in Mrs. Pilotti’s and Mrs. McCullogh’s grade 4 class participated. The ASSET kit they presented was Animal Studies.
