Mr. Alvin B. Gipson, Principal (10th-12th)
Alvin B. Gipson is a 1986 graduate of Aliquippa High School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University Of Penn State and a Master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Administration and Policy Studies. Mr. Gipson is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and PA Air National Guard.

Mr. Gipson was previously the principal of Aliquippa Elementary School, Bruns Avenue Elementary in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Miller African Centered Academy in Pittsburgh Public Schools.

Mrs. Beth Smith, Principal (7th-9th)
Beth Smith started in Aliquippa Middle School as a learning support teacher and then became the guidance counselor. After several years in those positions, she became the assistant principal. When the buildings merged, Mrs. Smith became the special education coordinator. She has now taken on the role of principal, grades 7-9. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University in elementary and special education. She also has a Master of Education in school guidance from Slippery Rock University and a K -12 principal certificate from the University of Pittsburgh. Mrs. Smith has spent her entire career with the Aliquippa School District.
